I like those a lot but I don't think I'd have shaded them, the brighter colours would have made these small figures stand out, whereas shaded en masse they could look like an amorphous lump, only my humble opinion of course; in the end it's all to one's own taste. 

Makes me kinda wish I'd gone 10mm for ancients rather than 1/72.
