Blooming well brilliant! Will certainly be coming over to see it at Stockton.

As to the headwear. Don't worry.

Dave Docherty will probably have people wearing Fez's
[sweepstake on how many Tommy Cooper impressions are made on the day!]

Or the Westerhope boys might have people wearing Kamikaze headscarfs.

Then there's the reenactors in period hats.

Leon, does your show have a mandatory requirement of people wearing funny hats?  <)

Wow.   Simply inspirational.   I could gawp at this for hours.

Both the figures are terrain are magnificent.   I'm interested
in the villages.   I assume these are Total Battle Miniatures ?

Fantastic - more of the same.

In the photo titled "The mass cavalry fight on the plains near Ramillies",
there is an interesting cavalry Regiment in yellow.   A close up would be
great if this is possible.

(They are on the left hand side in the centre of the brigade closest to
the road.)

More photos please (close ups if possible).

Glad we won't be the only ones looking like numpties 😀

Surely wearing a daft hat should be a mandatory requirement for attending

Chees Phil. Correct Ramillies, Offus and Autre Eglise are all Total Battle Miniatures packs purchased from Pendraken. Ramillies is a village (5 buildings) whilst the others are hamlets (3 buildings).

I picked up a Town (7 buildings) from Leon at Derby which we will be using at Battleground.

Perky (forum name) has a large confederate Army and also paints the buildings for us.

Hi Phil, they would be a regiment of French  Dragoons using the super LOA recent release.  They are awesome figures and my favourite in the army

Bloody marvellous, AND looks like there's hope to play to an actual resolution in time available!

Very nice :)
Fingers crossed we should be able to... though we all like a good chat at shows so fingers crossed!

Thank you for the additional pics - much appreciated.

Really nice to see the figures up close and personal
- lovely minis and excellent brushwork.

Thanks again,

No apologies required, very impressive =D>

I am inclined to agree with FK :o I did find the marker chips, particularly the yellow ones, a little distracting

I also noticed the edge of the base cloth and a few roads curling up, a little blu tack might reduce that

Finally I'm not a fan of table clutter, particularly for a demo game, a few spare chairs are a good place to have them handy but off the table

I hope you don't mind my suggestions aimed at enhancing a really impressive demonstration game that shows off our hobby really well

I find MDF counters a lot less intrusive if they are left in their natural, woody colour

As a punter at a wargames show, if I'm invited to play a participation game that doesn't have dice, tape measures, quick ref sheets and at least one coke can on it I make my excuses and move on as fast as possible.

Tokens should be easily visible, not require me to hunt for them.

YMMV!

Looks absolutely fantastic. =D> =D>
As for wearing tricorns, what else would one wear when gaming the WSS?  ;)

toxicpixie

No man with a good tricorne needs to be justified :)

Lovely figures, great hats :D

Thanks for that - I know a man with a rather large laser who supplies markers 😀
