If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

The Normandy board games look interesting.  I loved Cry Havoc,siege and the rest of the series

As I remember Cry Havoc, a knight attacking a peasant had twice the chance of being wounded that his adversary did. I recall much indignation and amusement at the exploits of one Harry whose flail killed two knights and crippled a third during a siege action. A fun set of games, but playtesting must have been skimped.
