Well, Last week was one of the best ever. On Thursday we went to London to see our son Play Ray Davies in the Kinks musical Sunny Afternoon...and then the Ramblin Man festival last weekend here was a complete blast. I was lucky enough to go with a mate of mine who has his own media company so got in on a Press Pass for both days. Highlight of the weekend was a chat to Gary Brooker of Procol Harum, saw Uriah Heep, Hawkwind, Europe, Whitesnake, Family and a whole load of other bands that are 'Up and Coming'. Only managed to take over 2,000 pictures, some are complete cr*p but loads of gooduns. Even saw a couple I used to know in Brum -small world or what. Knackering but brilliant at the same time.

I remember an exchange between a friend and his five-year-old daughter:
- Sweetie, won't you pass daddy that hammer?

- I'm not your slave, you know!

My eldest  said to me at a similar age when asked to do something.  "what did your last slave die of"

I replied "Disobedience".   :)
