Just watched the Ewen (and Colin) McGregor programme on the Battle of Britain.

Really good - historical footage, vets interviews, and lots of flying in Spitfires and Hurricanes - watch it on iPlayer if you missed it!

It was a really refreshing programme and made a distinct change from 'Strictly' X-Factor, Corrie, Eastenders and other innane drivvle that makes it onto TV.

The BBC seems to have put some real effort in to the Battle of Britain memorial series - we watched an earlier programme that followed a single pilot and his experiences in 1940 through to 1941, it too was really good.
