Happy Easter to everyone and welcome to the March newsletter!

We hope you've had a good weekend, and are sufficiently stuffed with chocolate!

First off, apologies to anyone currently waiting on an order as we're almost three weeks behind on our casting.  With us being away at three shows in three weekends recently it's been a real struggle to keep on top of things back at the unit.  Tuesday is casting stock, Wednesday is show orders, Thursday we pack the van, Friday drive to the show, Saturday/Sunday away, unpack the van again on Monday and then start all over again.  We've got a couple of weeks before our next outing though, so it's all hands on deck to get caught up.

Painting Competition 2016!

Our annual painting competition attracted some outstanding entries and the judges certainly had a difficult job on their hands to pick out the best ones!  After many sleepless nights they came to a verdict and chose our Winners!  With those chosen, we turned it over to the Forum members to choose our People's Choice Award as well.

Once again, thanks to everyone who entered this year, we hope you enjoyed taking part as much as we enjoyed watching your entries come in.

Salute!

It's that time of year again as we get ready to welcome the behemoth that is Salute.  If there is anything at all you're looking to pick up on the day, whether it's one pack of figures, a new army, even just some bases or paints, please let us know well in advance of the event so that we can get it ready for you.  The seven days leading upto Salute is absolute chaos, so any pre-orders received after Saturday 9th April are unlikely to be ready in time.  We'll be taking as much stock as we possibly can but things often sell out extremely quickly, so ordering in advance guarantees you'll get what you want.

Latest Releases!

Before we hit the recent run of shows we managed to get a load of new releases sorted out.  This included:

> League of Augsburg - With all of the pre-orders complete, it was time to get these on general release for everyone else.  With dragoons and both foot and mounted command, these round out the range nicely.

> Warband Lizardmen - The 8th Warband army to come online is the Lizardmen!  We've had these at the recent shows and sold out of them so they're proving popular!

> New Flags - We've wanted to expand our flag range for some time now and we advertised for flag designers back in January.  That search proved extremely fruitful and new Forum member Mig has been working hard on these new sheets, covering the SCW, Schleswig-Holstein and 16th C. Polish Hussars.  We've got more designs coming soon as well from some other folks, including AWI and Flodden sheets, plus some Naps flags further down the line.

> Stone Walls - These have been selling like hotcakes, with both the first and second batches of stock all selling out immediately.  We're currently waiting on another big box of walls to arrive ready for Salute.

> Epsilon buildings - Oscar at Escenografia Epsilon has been working hard on some more new releases and this little batch includes some nice Fantasy/Medieval types, all pre-painted as well!

In The Pipeline!

We're ploughing ahead with our Napoleonic expansion with the first batch of the Brunswickers arriving at Pendraken HQ.  The second batch have also arrived here but we need to get those photo'd.  With these complete, we're giving the sculptor a bit of a break and sending him off into other periods for a short while...

Shows!

As mentioned above, it's less than three weeks until Salute, so please, please, please make sure to send us your pre-orders before Sat 9th April.  Any received after that date are unlikely to be ready in time, so get them sent in as early as possible to avoid any disappointment.

Website Photos!

We're plodding away on this side of things as well, with the AWI's all photo'd and awaiting editing, plus painted ACW's sitting in the unit ready for the treatment.  As some of you may have seen on the Forum, Kev1964's been working on all of our Napoleonic ranges.  Pictures of these can be seen in Kev's threads in the Photos section.

And that's it for another month, we'll have some new WWII releases ready very soon, just in time for Salute.  And speaking of Salute, just in case we forget to mention it, send us your pre-orders before Saturday 9th April!

Probably not in time for Salute sadly, as I'd hoped to have them done by then.  All the shows in March have really scuppered a lot of the moulding/casting at Pendraken HQ so we're behind on a lot of the releases.  Dave's just finishing up the WWII French and Polish moulds, so those will be released within the next week or so and then the Prussians are next into the mould machine.  There'll be around 20 production moulds to do though, so we'd be looking at mid-late April before we can get through them all.

The tea crews are all done, we're just waiting for a suitably sized space in a production mould.  The new French/Polish releases seem to have filled everything nicely by themselves sadly, so we couldn't fit them in those.

The remodelled vehicles are all being held for now and then I'll announce when they're available.  The first batch should be the Tiger/Panther/T-34 and possibly a couple of the Brit/US models.
