I have disabled(hopefully) the windows 10 upgrade.

After using Microsoft products since DOS 5  was introduced  I am of the opinion that for the first 18 months after its release you are still Beta testing the software. Hence I am still running Windows 7 and have an XP emulator on it to run stiff I still like ie Allied General.

A lot of people are sure it's being given away free, for free Beta Testing for Microsoft.
Certainly heard that before, Mark.

And again......Uninstalled the little swine for the third time in 11 days.

Last time it was easy to spot as there were only two updates.....Today it was hidden in the middle of about twenty.
Roll on the end of July ! ....Perhaps they'll stop then.

I still like Win10 BUT I have just had a two week epic struggle with not being able to save edits to my WordPess blog.
Fixed now but time consuming and frustrating and firmly laid at the feet of Win10!

I physically disconnect the phone line from the PC unless I'm actually using the 'net', Guy  ...and every time I finish 'surfing', I go and check for updates.....Well...For the one particular one.

Yesterday ?........That's when the last one came in , Ian.......Buried among a load of other stuff.....and got uninstalled.

I've got so paranoid now, that as soon as I plug the phone line back onto to PC.......First thing I do, is to check the installed updates.
(I've pinned the control panel to the taskbar (?) so I can get to 'installed updates' in a couple of clicks, to check.)

Then when I've finished on 'the net'......I unplug the phone line.....And go back and check for KB 3035583 AGAIN.

I'm determined to stop them.
