Hi Folks

I'm in the middle of painting some of these new figures at the moment. While they are not my project, I am painting them for the guy who commissioned them and I had a small part in the research and development of the new figures. I can tell you now that I have them in my grimy paws that they look even better than I'd hoped. The masters were stunning but Dave has really done a brilliant job of moulding Techno's masters into beautiful production figures with no loss of detail at all - that is skill !!!

I've done some of the gun crews already and I'm working on some mixed command figures at the moment. Should be able to put some WIP shots of these up once they have been varnished. Next up will be the English command and a pile of men at arms to front up the English billmen bases (the billmen are already painted).

As Leon says, it is a big project. James' division is on 40 60x30mm bases and contains 720 figures - without extras such as command stands. Overall something in excess of 4000 figures.

Will there be any rejigging of the existing army packs or a supplemental pack? ;)
#justtakemymoneyLeon

I think there will be, we'll probably have a chat with the customer and see what he would recommend for the new composition.

Can do the Italian Wars at last!
:)

No! No! No !.   Its not fair, I just get myself where I am disciplined enough to finnish the many projects I have without starting any others and certain putty pushers of questionable parentage  and a  Northerners of dubious virtue tempt me like this.......   >:( >:(

I have only seen half the range and I am already working out army lists.  =P~

I am going to repeat my mantra to help me stop myself adding to the lead mountain
"I have lots and lots of  Italian wars in 15mm.  I don't need to do this in 10mm"

Bill Braham

Excellent figures and yet another temptation!

Bill Braham

Leon,

Looking at the new codes released there seem to be some obvious types now missing such as rear rank Scots pike, highlanders, English bow and bill. Figures for these were available in the old range, can we assume that new figures are being mastered/moulded to remedy this.
