Casualty figure: "It's not bad Chalkie, you've just copped a Blighty one *gulp*"


Austrian soldiers at Eggmuhl. The  1st Bttn 4th "Hoch und Deutchmeister" - they were reputed to be a lucky unit, and the regimental band was first class whch cheered up the troops. Thus they were the Happy 1st of the 4th.

I thought my eggs, lathed from coloured Sylmasta A+B were rather good.

Nobby deserves huge credit.....He didn't even hard boil his eggs.
