Cheers Will!

Although 30 minutes in and with it looking like this (after some butchery) I wasn't sure how it'd turn out.

It really is  =D>

Conversion aside (which is excellent) the paint job is stunning; even the glass which is a right bugger to do well.
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

That looks like a scene from a wargaming spatter-movie!

Pretty straight forward to be honest

The front cabin and the base of the passenger compartment are in one piece. The huey has part of the engine in the passenger compartment so I made this with bits of match sticks. This helped to support the tail section and the roof (and lots of super glue gel  :))

Then fill the gaps with green stuff, lots of filing then add cardboard doors.

Then add chaps on board

Spray white then paint

simples really  :)

(took fecking ages really)

... and you don't feel this is just showing off?

I'm mightily impressed. If I took a hacksaw to a Huey, you'd end up with something that looked like one of Donald Duck's nephews.
