Leon has kindly let me post up about a Dystopian Wars and Dystopian Legions campaign weekend that i am hosting at Kings of the North 2015 at Rainton Gate near Durham City between the 17th and 19th of April.

Folkvangr Events & Worhamma Gaming Club, in partnership with Flipside Cafe, are proud to present their 1st wargaming retreat, Kings of the North 2015!



Kings of the North is a residential wargaming event, to be held on 17th-19th April 2015 at Moorside Adventure Centre near Durham City, offering campaigns, tournaments and gaming experiences across a variety of systems.



As part of KotN, Vanguard Spenno and myself will be running Operation: Golden Citadel, a 2-day campaign weekend incorporating Dystopian Wars & Dystopian Legions following the Grand Alliance's defence of territory in Central & South America. Word has spread that a number of depositories of advanced tech (some even say 'Vaults' akin to the one found in the Antarctic) have been found within the more remote parts of Colombia, Brazil & Panama. Although for the most part it is just dismissed as rumour, some individuals within the Imperial Bond & Free Nations believe it is far too dangerous to sit idly by if there really is a possibility of super weapons being found so near to the FSA. So forces have been mobilised and sent to war over the promise of treasures within the Americas...



For Dystopian Legions players this will be six 1000pts rounds - 3 on the Saturday & 3 on the Sunday - following missions & scenarios that tie into the overall plot of Golden Citadel.



A rules pack and further information will follow shortly.



Tickets are £66 for Full Residential spaces & £55 for Camping Spaces. Tickets and further event information can be found on the website here.

There will be a limited amount of Residential (dorm space) tickets available and an open number of camping spots.

Ticket prices are as such to cover the costs of hiring the entire venue for the full weekend, prize pools and also include:
•a Welcome Pack
•Accomodation for 2 nights
•All your meals provided throughout
•Entry into the campaign in the system of your choosing
•Exclusive gaming opportunities on the Friday and Saturday nights such as open gaming tables, tabletop / board games library & demo sessions of a variety of systems, games & RPGs.
•Access to the Flipside Cafe & Worhamma shop & the licensed bar.

We hope to see a strong turnout from the Spartan Divisions & to make the entire event a success!
