Just primed a some 28mm (i know there not 10mm but they were free) fantasy figures (5 dwaves, 3 orcs, 1 big orc and a bigish goblin) up in grey, planning on washing them in black before i paint them.

Its been sometime since i did fantasy, anyone know any good tutorials etc on skin tones both normal and green?

As an aside im still amazed how much detail pops out of minis once you primer them.

Also....

Im now about to start painting up some single fantasy figs from pendraken, what technique do you use on the flesh for them?

Thanks for the advice
Brian.

I'm a bad painter so for me it is : Flesh + flesh wash.
I used to undercoat with black but lots of people tend to use white coating, paint and finally wash everything with some shader.
I'm about to try this with my dungeon.. "denizen".

For some of my pulp figures I had a dark base coat, drybrushed a light colour then painted only with washes it was really quick.
Sometimes I wonder - why is that frisbee geting bigger - and then it hits me!
