But will any of them be new figures, or will they just be slight variants on the existing ones?

There's a mix of both, most of the regular foot will be conversions and variants on existing figures, but the command, shamans, gun crews, etc contain a lot of new sculpts.

Could be some really interesting late-medievals coming up then. The Fomorians appear to have become the Balori (sounding a bit like Star Trek - do they sue as well?).
