Excellent, Forez, and highly ingenious. The figures are beautiful.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

What an impressive debut on the forum.  Well painted diorama, nice eye candy  and ......a major breakthrough on how to model barbed wire in 10mm

Tulle fabric eh?  Amazing.

Your soldiers look lovely.....but can they "fight"  when the dice rolls?   In other words are you a modeller or a gamer?  It makes no difference on this forum, as it is the modellers who lead the way in painting figures.

I love the camouflage on the German helmets, how did you do the black outlines :-\

It's very nice to paint german's helmet.

First step : you paint in black the helmet

2nd step : you paint little brown, green, sand stains on. To be careful of leave a small black line between the stains.

Hello Sunray,

Thanks about your message, but the stuff idea isn't from me. I find it on the "Steel Master Thématique, issue 25" about the WWI. My friend José Duquesne writted an article on this, the topic was a storm on German trench by two FT-17 (1/35e). In this article, how he has done the sand bag with glay and barbed wire with stuff.

About my trench, its not a diorama, its a board game. In fact, in Vae Victis magazine (issue 88),  the board game was a little trench storm with 30 French pieces who struggle 10 Germans.
The autor explain the piece can replaced by figurines. I've found it was more funny to replace the board too.

3rd step. You get a very bad headache from staring at very tiny things.   :P
