Good Afternoon,

Question for London folk: I have just joined the forum and wondered what sort of wargames clubs are in my area?

With Pendraken figs I am currently having a go at Franco Prussian War and War of Spanish Succession (campaigns in Italy ...Eugene of Savoy's capers and all that!!)

There are quite a few in the area I think, I've just found a list on this website: http://tablewarfare.com/london-wargame-clubs-and-societies.htm although I don't know how many of those are active?
www.pendraken.co.uk - Now home to over 7000 products, including 4500 items for 10mm wargaming, plus MDF bases, Battlescale buildings, I-94 decals, Litko Gaming Aids, Militia Miniatures, Raiden Miniatures 1/285th aircraft, Red Vectors MDF products, Vallejo paints and much, much more!

Certainly some of them are still active (ours is, for a start) but be aware that many of them cater mainly or solely for fantasy/sci-fi. And, as you'll know, London is a big place and there don't seem to be many around the W5 area. However, it might be worth phoning around. If none of them are near they may well know one that is.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Well I'm far too oriental for you being in the mystic depths of E17 but I have found this utility http://nearbygamers.com/ very handy - I've had something like 20 players attend my own group through it.
Somewhat RPG orientated but if you list your games all is well.

That said I'm getting a blank screen at the moment - hope it isn't dead!

Zippee,
Well, Walthamstow may be ok?
To tell you the truth, I think it's more a case of you guys being ok with, basically, a novice. Haven't done any serious wargamming for donkeys :o  Just getting going, again, on my painting!

Will have a go at RPG.

Used to have a flat in Walthamstow but generally work in central London.

Well,
you're welcome if you want to travel east.

I too work in central - there is the GLC which is in Red Lion Square, Holborn https://www.facebook.com/GLCGamesClub

otherwise my lads meet most Thursday evenings - drop me a pm if you want to come over, think we're about to start some Cthulhu so wargaming may be off the table for a couple weeks. planning on some PBI tomorrow.
