Labels glued to bases  :)

I also did a count up

Painted
441 Infantry, Dismounted cavalry & gunners
156 Cavalry & limber horses
13 Guns, limbers & carts
610 Total

Only basing and varnishing to do and project, including top up, done  ;)

Thanks for the amazing job on painting up all the 1914 stuff Paul  8)

They're that good I might have to get you to do some more.....sometime down the track  ;)
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
we are not now that strength which in old days
moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are.

Your very welcome Peter, I have really enjoyed painting them  :)

Basing is finished  :) :)

If the wind doesn't get up in the next hour or so I should get them varnished (and photographed) so you can pick them up tonight  :) :) :)

Just varnished the last of this project, well almost...

As I was about to varnish them I noticed one of the stands for the new battalion was mislabelled >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

It is labelled Red Red Blue which is Infantry brigade, first battalion, third company

It should have been Red Green Blue which is Infantry brigade, fourth battalion, third company

I will have to print off a new label on Monday then relabel and varnish  >:( >:( >:(

That will teach me to not print spares as I normally do and to take more care when updating after cutting and pasting

Took photos as Peter will be collecting all but the mislabelled stand on the way to our game tonight

Limbers and MG carts

Top ups to bring 2 weak infantry battalions up to full strength (one extra stand per company)

Bonus infantry battalion

This battalion was put together out of the various spares and is only one stand short of full strength  ;) This gives Peter a full infantry brigade  :)

There are two things "wrong" with this battalion, feel free to guess...

Great stuff, Paul. And yes, gluing on the wrong label is a total pain.  ~X( ~X(
