I first bought these rules back in the 80s, and at the time they were pretty revolutionary, concentrating on brigades as units in the ACW, rather than regiments. They are now out again and have been updated by Mark Severin of Scale Creep Miniatures. Although available as a booklet they would have to be posted from the USA to the UK. However, they are also available as a PDF, with no postage charge, for $15. What has attracted me in particular is the Franco-Prussian variant (there are others as well, including Ancient) as I realise that my 60mmx30mm basing will work extremely well with these rules for doing smaller actions, or parts of larger actions. I am thinking here of the scenarios in They Died for Glory (e.g. Froeschwiller is broken down into four separate scenarios}. Anyone else familiar with OTR?
