Dave decided to invest in a reproduction WW1 German helmet last summer, which he got Jenna to paint up in some distinctive camouflage. This one has been to a few of the shows towards the back end of last year, but we'll be taking it along with us for the rest of 2013 and we're hoping to capture a few of you wearing it!
After 'The Cat in the Hat, and the 'Pendraken Auxiliaries', we'll also need a name for this new thread, so please add your suggestions and we'll pick the best one.
Here's the first two volunteers from the York show:

Your new thread title could be 'Die Null Acht Fünfzehner' i.e. The zero eight fifteeners?

Great idea here :D
"That's 08/15" is really an extremely common term in German, but most people don't know that it derives from a WW1 weapon.
Trouble is, J.S., some of my northern bretheren have problems pronouncing English, let alone German. :P

Only three poseurs at Carronade and all of them are members of the South East Scotland Wargames Club.
That's me second from the top by the way.
Isn't that Bob Hoskins? ;D
The one at the bottom looks sort of familiar - but I can't think why....
And here's another couple of Forum members from this past weekend's Triples show! 10 points to anyone who can identify them... :-\
