Hi people, here is my entry. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to paint up something especially for this competition so I took a part of a unit from my existing armies (all painted between July 2012 and now).
Here we got a Light Gun with limber from a Protestant German force in the Thirty Years' War. Artillery crews didn't wear any uniforms back then and weren't really part of the regiments at all. Many of them were civilians and a wide array of clothes of mostly darker or muted colours (for practical reasons).

The elves slowly closed in on their quarry. They had been tracking this particular group of orcs for the last couple of hours, ever since they entered the sacred forest. It hadn't been hard, just follow the trail of butchered wildlife... butchered sacred wildlife. Watching them now around the campfire, the leader turns in disgust at the sight of one of the fowl beasts tearing into the leg of a golden elk. Signalling to the other elves camouflaged among the trees, he raises his bow, silently notching an arrow. Time for some justice....
