Wanax is now the proud owner of £20 worth of goodies from Minibits: http://www.minibits.net/ (http://www.minibits.net/)!
Thanks to everyone who voted!
A great set piece, really inspiring and one which I have added to my "inspiring photos" folder. Congratulations Wanax.
Bob
a worthy winner :-bd

Totally agree.
Well done Sandro !
Fully deserved. :-bd =D> =D> =D> =D>

Not only is the painting very nice but the basing is a solid 10 out of 10. Excellent stuff.
Well done Sandro !
Congratulations on a lovely piece of work 8).
Good work fella!
:D
Well done Wanax! =D>
Knew I should have made more usernames to get more votes... Must remember that for next year ;)
Seriously, congratulations Sandro, really nice painting and basing. Is this a gaming piece or a display piece?
Many thanks to you mates...
I'm really happy and proud to be the people's choice...
Onestly the level of entries was very very high, congratulations to all patecipants, and overall to Leon and the Pendraken staff. A big competition and wonderful figures of course.
Fred, this is a display piece. I ordered some AWI figures, but do not arrived in time, so I used some ACW and SYW figures I had in spare boxes to arrange something for the competition.
To be honest till some weeks ago i was mainly a 6mm painter and player, tilll some weeks ago....
Last let me say thanks to my brother Paolo, a professional photographer, for the pictures.
Again many thanks to all.
Sandro
Great piece of work, Sandro. =D>
Very deserved winner but equally surprised this entry didn't do much better in the main competition 8)
From a perosnal point of view I was pleased to get joint 3rd after not securing a single point in 2011 :)
Thanks to Leon and the Judges for putting on the competition and for the astonishing amount of effort that goes into staging and judging these things.
I have to say though that I still find myself a little disappointed that so few members bothered to vote even though there was a decent increase in entries this year. Once again a pretty poor showing given the number of entrants and forum members.

Just for info, in the time the People's Choice poll was running, just over 200 of our members were active at one time or another, so the 84 people who did vote is around 40% of that. It was an increase on last years poll, but it would have been nice to get over 100 voters. Still, thanks to everyone who did vote, and we'll hit the 100 voters mark next year!

What I have noticed is the number of Guests on the forum, just now it was 30 guests and 8 registered users, last night it was around 45 to 12
Need to turn these lurkers into posters - come on in we're a friendly lot :D
Fred, not all of those will be real lurkers, if you remember the 'funky footwear invasion' of not so long ago?
To all the others, yes please, do join!
There will also be a tiny handful of 'spies' from rival companies keeping an eye on what Pendraken are planning....Betcha ! ;)
Cheers - Mr Paranoid.

I'd really like to know how many of the guests are genuine myself. They're mostly going to be spambots I'd guess, but it'd be interesting to see.

Yeah, we've changed the registration process, so I manually activate any new members now. A quick Google of their email/IP address usually flushes out the dodgy ones.
