I'll be there on the Sunday, so it will be good to meet up again Leon. We are on table P2, next to KDs P table. Both will be Eastern Front BKC games, one in 10mm (KD) and ours in 15mm. I know, I'm a heretic ;).

I have resisted pre-ordering anything as my lead pile in the loft has remained largely as it was at the start of the year. However, I'm sure the odd spur of the moment purchase may occur :).

I'll be there on Saturday and looking forward to meeting you.

I haven't pre-ordered either but have raided my piggybank so that temptation can have free rein.

Be good to meet you both again, I'll be having a wander Sat morning. I saw the 10mm game listed on the show guide and wondered if that was you and KD. I'll have to pop up and grab some pics. The Roman helmet awaits as well!

Picked up my order this morning - thank you very much.

Failed to buy Future War Commander (my only other 'need') - only saw a couple of copies, and neither was pristine despite being 'new'. Both copies that I saw looked like some very heavy-thumbed people had had a flick through before me.

Show fever got to me - I bought a couple of boxed of Perry miniatures for use in a Warhammer Dogs Of War army that hasn't seen the light of day for three years .... Also bought the Clash Of Empires rulebook. Have no idea why. As soon as I got home I thought 'what the hell??'.

Must admit, don't like shows much - too many people in too small a space for me to feel comfortable.

The Pendraken stand was very, very busy when I was there, so that's good news for you guys! Hope you have a good show.

Cheers, Martyn

PS Don't suppose that anyone wants to buy an as-new copy of Clash Of Empires? Or swap for Future War Commander?

Sunday last year was a much more pleasant day, much less of a rugby scrum all round. I'll let you know tomorrow if this still holds true!

I'm not going to get there tomorrow chaps - gutted to be missing out, two years in a row...

This time it's sheer weight of work & deadlines on some key contracts I'm negotiating, as well as some MEd marking that I need to get done: and with a couple days in London next week, I can't spare the time  :(

So - I hope you have a great time & don't forget the pics  8)

We visted early afternoon and noticed that numbers declined a bit in the main hall while people had their lunch and the Pendraken stand was sufficiently quiet for me to say hello.

I took my autistic son for his first wargame Exhibition and I'm glad to say he coped with the crowds though he needed his ear defenders (he's hyper-sensitive to the general hubbub that we filter out).

I just bought a few derelict houses from Pendraken. I have to say, having decided to wargame only in 10mm means that most of the stands are of no interest and saves me money. No impulse buying!  :)

Well pretty much just back from the show. Nice to meet up with some familiar faces, with some off the BKC forum. A nice and relatively relaxed day (apparently Saturday was very busy) with plenty of interest in the table and BKC.

Trader wise a few missing from last year and business seemd pretty slow today making it quite hard to cover the costs of the stands. Compared to the last few years, very little discounting to be had. For many products it is actually cheaper to buy online and pay p&p, a fact that many people commented on.

The Bring'n' Buy was pretty poor compared to last year, but Saturday was better apparently.

Nice to meet up with the Pendraken boys and see their range up close and personal; simply far too much temptation!

On the demo tables, I didn't have time to peruse them as much as I would have liked. However the AVBCW 'Battle for Ambridge' by the Edward VIII Cocktail Bar chaps was simply stunning. I have watched this table grow over the past year or so into something that always brings a smile to my face. There is so much going on, with great conversions and beautifully painted models and figures. If you get a chance to spend time looking at this table, please do. You won't regret it.

First time I've been in a long while - probably since the last one at the Hexagon!

Decided to leave visiting the Pendraken stand until last thing before we left so unfortunately missed Leon who was off taking pictures, but had a nice chat with Dave who kindly let my exhausted daughter collapse into a chair for a few minutes. She was a bit  @-) by then!

Massively busy table, but very nice.   :-bd  What looked like a militant WI unit was my favourite bit!  :o   I'll have to see how my pictures look and post some later.  Plenty of other really nice stuff to see, if mostly a little large  ;)

Played in the Tusk game run by Lincombe Barn Wargames Society.  Might have to add a nice 10mm mammoth herd to my pile of lead  :-\  :D

Ah right, I noticed the ear phones and thought he was chilling out to some tunes.  Although the idea of filtering out the hubbub definitely has some appeal, I like the idea of that!

There were a couple of missing traders, but I did notice a couple of new ones who had some interesting items, especially a guy called Hedgerow Scenics I think it was, who was doing some very durable hedge items for 10mm gaming.

I didn't get chance to have much of a look at the Bring and Buy, but our friend Cliff had a couple of visits and generally came back with some kind of 'bargain' which had no relation to his current project!

Sorry I missed you, Dave came and found me on the third floor grabbing some pics of the games, and said you'd been by.  Are you popping along to any other shows this year, Warfare maybe?

I'll get the Show Report done tomorrow night hopefully, there's a whole load of pics and uploading them is gonna take a while!

Never mind, just one of those things.  I thought I'd leave Pendraken 'till last so I knew how much money I had left in the kitty  ;)  Next time I'll pop by first and then come back to clear my account  :D

Yeah, we'll probably try and get to Warfare so hopefully see you there.
