First of all, thanks to everyone who has entered the 2021 Pendraken Painting Competition, after a long year of lockdowns we hope that you've enjoyed taking part. The standard of painting has been fantastic this year and hopefully you've all enjoyed watching the entries come in as much as we have!
The voting was done by our Forum members who had 5 votes to cast per category, so without further ado...
The Winners of the 2021 Pendraken Painting Competition are...
Foot - Pre-20th C. (56 entries)
This category had the highest number of entries and there was some close voting going on to begin with. In the end two entries pulled clear:

Thanks to Pendraken for this nice competition.
I'm very happy to have won in the Pre-20th C. category, because the level was very high, but also because I like the movement and engraving quality of the French 2nd Empire miniatures.
Congratulations to the winners, some really impressive painting of the Pendraken ranges!
Wow, just wow. There was a lot of very impressive work. Now, get vaccinated and go outside!

Many thanks, Leon, you've done a great job getting the competition up and running again. A big surprise to be one of the winners, and many congratulations to all competitors, whether winners or not. - great stuff! One positive thing to come out of lockdown, I have finally rediscovered the satisfaction of painting!
Fantastic entries and deserved winners.
Question though. Wolnik has eyes but do I also see fingernails or do I need to lie down in a dark room from too much eye strain?
A very big congrats to all winners and runners-up, but also, a very big congrats to all who entered! Alas, I was unable to get mine done in time. Every entry was worthy of a prize, if you ask me. There is some serious talent among Pendraken customers. Some truly beautiful art was displayed, here!

A jelous Kitty me thinks ;)
I speak for dozens of painters without talent!
It is not the winning that counts, it is the taking part ... :D
Which part may I take? (in tones of reviving interest)
Well done everyone.
I've just done a unit of the 95th Rifles. It would definitely have won. :^o
Well top 3.
Top 10?
A few votes.
Congratulations to all the winners, and many thanks for the kind voters for making me part of that group! Still a bit taken aback to be honest; guess my second 10mm army may be a reality sooner and cheaper than I had anticipated...
And my gratitude to the generous sponsors of the competition too! I'll be sure to share images of painted products whenever I can!
Congratulations to all the winners. there are some brilliant entries this year
