Right, so apart from Amazons, new SF, Arab-Israeli and now Brigadier Hackett's "1984: The Third World War", what will Pendraken do for me in 2021?
Sheesh! It's as if you want me to stay at home.
Hang on ... there's an S-TANK!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D
(https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/71/Stridsvagn_103_Revinge_2013-1.jpg)
I'll have to borrow some of Techno's ABBA tapes to get me in the groove!
This is exciting stuff!

Yep! I was talking to Mart today and he asked if we could put it on the list as it's such a cool looking piece of kit (and useful of course, but that's secondary to being cool!)
"3. WWII additions - Artillery crews, casualties and maybe a few other bits if we've got time."
3-men-in-a-trench for the Russians? Or even for all of those armies that don't have them?
S tanks!!! Yes!
Sweden - Stridsvagn 103
Is this an S tank which I see before me
I fear a new project is in the offing.
Add me in for the S Tank, but you will also need the APC and recce Lt Tank (too lazy to walk across flat and check designations)

Potentially, I've just blackwashed the British one for the website photos and I think we can make a much better model there. It might be better done with a trench piece and separate inserts for the different nations.

Pbv 302 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pansarbandvagn_302) is the main APC. There's an earlier Pbv 301 and a later CV90 that may be used as well, depending on your timeframe.
The Lt tank is an IKV ?

In days gone by at our club (SESWC) in Edinburgh we always had members and guests sign a Visitors book on each visit.
One of the entries is a certain 'Derek Dick'.

'Fish' wasn't in the
original lineup of Marillion. Early days, for sure, but not the original lineup.
FWIW I used to work with a guy who
was in the original lineup of the band.
Cheers,
Geoff

Spot on Phil, that's the man, I mean fish.
He's still on the go with a recording studio just a few miles east of Edinburgh.
Not only him but one of our current gaming chummies is a Mr Ray Neal from Miracle Legion.
Is there a chance for panzer III N turret without armoured skirts? with panzer IIIL hull it would make exellent early Panzer IIIN :) good for winter 1942/43 Wintergewitter and 3rd battle of kharkov.

Good point, Geoff. :)
I think Steve Rothery is the only member of the band from the earliest days....I don't think the original line up even
had a vocalist ?

You're one up on me there, Jim......I don't believe I've ever heard any of their stuff.
Cheers - Phil :)
Do we know which of the Marder II types we will get 131 or 132?

Not much I'm afraid, the Crimean revamp will be a job for the Peninsular sculptor so we'll need to get that project finished off first. At the moment it's likely to be into 2022 before we can get him started on that I think.
Ah the ravages of time. As mine is becoming more limited (age ) I have had to look to Magister Militum to get my Crimean project off the ground. Napoleonics have never really grabbed me. Incidentally I used to hang out with the lead guitarist in Stanley Stamp's Gibbon Catalogue.

What page?
I had lunch regularly with an ex-member of The Water Boys, over the space of a decade or two. It's amazing what one's colleagues have done before they wound up where you did.

Can you not just cut the gun down on PzlllL?
Not a possiblity, the 75L24 is a very distictive shape.

No worries, hopefully we can get on to it sooner rather than later!

Great new on the Crimean War revamp. Any plans for a GNW revamp too?? How about early Napoleonics, Napoleon in North Italy fighting Russians and Austrian??
Please keep up the good work

The Crimean revamp has been bumped temporarily until we can get this Peninsular project finished off, so we'll come back to that later in the year. A GNW revamp isn't currently planned unfortunately, it would make sense for that to be a Clib range and carry through from the LoA figures, but I'd need to chat with him about that.
Any other Napoleonic-era ranges would have to go into the queue along with revamped Russians, War of 1812, Revolutionary ranges, Wellington's time in India, etc, etc.
Revolutionary period 👍👍👍
I am painting and basing a mixture of Pendraken Renaissance (and a few other ranges).
They are proxies for Portuguese explorers/colonists during the 16th century.
Rules are Irregular Wars.

Thanks Leon, I am in no rush as I have a mountain of projects, like all us wargamers lol
Its nice to know that it is in the 'mind'
Keep up the great work
