What shall that be?
Good luck with this, but, as you say, they'll not be to everyone's taste. Certainly not mine. Think I'd just use card counters if I was going that abstract.
Very interesting read, I have thought about trying these figures ut and they are very tempting. Looking forward to seeing them painted up. :)
Yep, not to everyone's taste for sure, but then 54mm wargaming leaves me cold. Each to their own :).
Will be interesting to see how these turn out :-\
Interesting, looking forward to seeing how they look finished
Same here !
Cheers - Phil :)
No pressure then ;) :D
Nice - I imagine they are very lightweight
Yep, picking them up is weird as you feel you're just picking up a base.

Someone mentioned it will all be over before Christmas :!! ;)
Note that I didn't say which Xmas Paul :D.
Is this a retread of the HEARTS OF OAK thread?

More a derivative work ;)

I'd forgotten about the HoA thread, which really shows how great these look en masse. My offerings are on a much more modest scale.
MDF figures ??? Its wargaming Jim, but not as we know it. :)
With apologies to Dr McCoy.
The first brigade is finished and can be seen here on my Blog:

Looking really well. I'm sure it comes across great on the tabletop
Excellent
Aye, they look really good.
My only criticism would be that only one line of infantry on a base means they look a little lost.

This was done purely for the speed of painting and to avoid the wait for more figures to arrive. In the end I've grown to like the simple aesthetic of a singe line, but I do know what oyu mean about them being a bit lost on the base.
Nicely done, will be a treat to play these out on the table-top (one day).
They have turned out really well, good work on them. :)
Sadly it's going to be some time before I get beat again Dave ;) :D.
They look really good, Steve ! :-bd
Cheers - Phil :)
I have to admit these look really good for being just 2 dimensional models, really well done!
Thanks chaps for the kind words :).
