Title: Tropical stone shade ? advice required
Post by: Sunray on 03 February 2020, 05:36:37 PM
I need a tropical stone shade - as in Kings African Rifles post war.   Something like Pale Sand VAL 837 perhaps ?   :-

Any suggestions ?

There is  s Stone Grey (884)

Flames of war North afican paint set sy its for  British webbing, Afrika korps webbing. But remember the sun bleaches everything, so pick a colour you like and sod what the button counters say  :)

Ah - I have that pot - use it for vehicle hoods and tilts.  :)  You are right - they are my (precious) little men, and I will paint them in a colour I like!

The sun and hand washing really lightens colours very quickly, based upon my experience en Afrique.

884 did the business -  I gave them a faded  green 44 web.   :)

Thanks Orcs .
