Title: Daughter brings Christmas gift
Post by: Sunray on 25 December 2019, 10:46:38 AM
Daughter arrived home for Christmas with what looked like wrapped plastic kit for dad.  It opened this morning to reveal a Hobbyboss KJ 200 -  Now with a little tweaking I will have an Antonov AN 12 for Soviet Airborne.

Merry Christmas everyone !  :)

Yes, I will cut out the rear cargo door - model it in the open mode.  Then it works for a low level drop OR on the ground loading etc.

I have bridge deck from the Airfix Pontoon Bridge 1/72. which cut into 6mm wide sections, will proxy for ramp deck on the inside of the rear cargo door.

Rumour Control predicts a neat little ASU-57 to provide cargo in the new year. No pressure Leon.   :)

I will probably paint it up as an Egyptian/Arab nation =  Intervention in East African bush war.
