What has been your most annoying earworm in the last three months? Needn't be bad music, just unbearably persistent.
My starter:

Not helped that it's on some TV show promo - I can't remember the program, or even if it's actually "Power", but it's one of Grimes' and even if it's not "Power" that's lodged my ailing brain thinks it is :D

This has been on SO, SO many times on Auntie. X_X (Auntie refers to the BBC, for those of you who don't live in the UK)
AAAARGH !! %-(
Thank you for making me think about the most annoying 'tune', Alexander. Now this will stick with me for hours. :'( :'( :'( :'(
I'll put some Quo on later to clear it. :P
Cheers - Phil
I find myself whistling this one while queued at traffic lights.
Girls und Panzer - Panzerlied feat. Battle of the Bulge (1965) Vocals Reupload
A Jewish friend tells me he once found himself whistling the Horstwessellied walking down the street after playing a WWII video game. He got some odd looks - it was in Berlin.
I find And One's "Panzermensch" very catchy.
It's technically not actually about tanks, it's just the half assed English assumption-translation misses the crucial idiom. And it does sound like music to invade someone to...
Watched it again a few nights ago. Am doing heavy work in and on house. Find myself wandering around humming the departing chant:
My current earworm is used as the backing for an ad on telly
This is much better. :D
(I did sort of warn you !)
Ho, Ho, Ho :)

O.K...Seeing as no-one's started, yet !......May I be the first to wish everyone on the forum a very Happy Christmas. <:-P :-bd <:-P
All the best - Phil
It's not Xmas till our kid has warbled it at you!
Tesco's were playing that in Cardigan last week ! ;D ;D ;D
(And I'd bet they were playing it long before that !)
Cheers - Phil :)
Bloody September round 'ere !! :o :o
September, Ian? Never - iiiiiiiiiiiits Chriiiiiiiiiistmaaaaaas!
Made an recurring mistake of hitting on u tube for '80's music VERY early the other morning whilst on the booze....now stuck with Wang Chung: 'Dance Hall Days' and ''The Safety Dance'...Men Without Hats!
Didn't even like them much...back in the day...but they were on the Video Jukebox, (which Burned stuff into your Brain when you were down the pub most nights...it only had about 30 vids?!)...and I am now in the 'Want to go Back!' phase of life!!! ;D :o :( ;D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKwO1aB1W3I (Not the Vid jukebox version...That was old Jive stuff! :))

Just Don't! :d

I quite like "Safety Dance" :-[........And for some reason that's reminded me of 'Rock me Amadeus'.....That'll stick with me for the rest of the day. X_X
Cheers - Phil
I REALLY REALLY HATE CHRISTMAS.....
Uh oh...I find myself sharing Ian's sentiments....
Love "Men without hats" and the Safety Dance... it's safe to dance, it's safe to dance, it's the safety dance!
*wanders off humming*
DANCES!
X_X X_X X_X
Cheers - Phil ;)
As a public service I offer the worst ear worm ever. I recommend not listening:
Right ... I shall show my workings for this one.
There is an election on.
The Leader of Plaid Cymru is
Adam Price,(https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/13/Adam_Price_2016_%28cropped%29.jpg)
Adam Price sounds like
Alan PriceAlan Price was a singer in the 1960s
(https://vz.cnwimg.com/thumbc-300x300/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/GettyImages-507808383.jpg)
He sang with the Animals, and had a successful partnership with Georgie Fame.
In 1967 Alan Price reached #4 with "Simon Smith and his Amazing Dancing Bear".
The Muppets covered it in 1975- with Scooter singing and Fozzie as ... the bear.
So now ... because of this chain of thoughts ... whenever I hear a Welsh accent, I immediately start doing an impression of Kermit the Frog ... M'Lud.
FSN...the Jury is out...gone to the Pub...and probably won't be back till Easter! ;D
As to The Safety Dance...THAT DAMN THING WORMS! I was just being drunken silly...but now I like it a lot...almost as much as:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNmnbOmWpgA LOL!
In fact, I posted it on Facebook as my helpful contribution to voting. (No-one 'Liked' it :( :( :( ).
Can't figure out why the last seconds of vid were of missiles? Back then We Knew we were likely to fry...and didn't give a s*** but suppose bands 'Had ' to make a statement. =) However, I didn't even get a 'like' from B****y Corbyn! Wonder Why? ;D ;D ;D
Thanks to Techno's post on another thread my earworm is currently

This is driving me nuts
Cheers
Ian

It's his opening lyrical blast that is stuck in there. I commute 56km to work on a motorbike, there's a lot of strange things populating my mind each morning :-)
Cheers

I prefer the 'studio' version. ;)
Had me diving into the CD collection to check on the titles of a couple more of their tunes.....
"Sylvia" and "House of the King"........Really like those ! :)
Cheers - Phil
Good news - no longer have "Senorita" running through my head.
Bad news ... I have this instead!
Sandinista thanks for that "it's a small world after all" truly an earworm as I haven't been able to get it out of my head. another disny tune a bit like "follow me boys " which nearly became the song for the Boy Scouts of America another ear worm
I like that Rag n'Bone Man track. Very punchy. Was about to say "I'm sure I've heard it before" then checked and found out it's a year old and therefore will have floated through my subconscious many times :D
