Hello everyone, i'm Andrea from Italy (around Florence).
My background as a player and a painter comes from WarhammerWarhammer 40k, FoW, Bloodbowl and some spare skirmishers.
Last years i was on Bolt Action & finally 6mm Napoleonic.
But now, with new house & new space in the garage...
The era for 10mm has begun!
BKCIV + Warband orders recently placed #rock :P
i left some pictures from the past

Welcome Andrea. Your table looks great. Have fun on the forum and in 10mm.
Andy
Superb looking work, looking forward to seeing what you'll bring to your 10mm projects! Welcome to the forum.
Welcome Andrea and some lovely work on show already. Looking forward to seeing more of your work in 10mm.
Welcome Andrea, You have a lovely set up an the figures are ver nive
Siena e naturalmente piu bella che Firenze, ma Firenze e anche simpatica.
(Hope I got the grammar right. Italian is far from my first language. Welcome, anyway!)
Haha, nice. In Florence we use to say "Siena? Only horses and senesi. So only horses." ;D
Hi - seen worse stuff (usually on my work desk ;))
A very warm welcome to the forum 'J' ....I think I said 'Hi' in another thread.....Because I thought I had missed you before. :-[
I love the photo's that you have posted. :-bd
Really hope you enjoy 'getting into' 10mm figures.
Cheers - Phil
Welcome Andrea. Like the work you've done and your skills should translate well to 10mm. Avanti!
Google translated Kitty as:
Siena has many wonderful pleasure houses, more than Florence, but counting is a simple waste of time.
What ho and welcome.
Good man on making the transition to 10mm. Maybe you can get Pendraken to do some WWII Italian Artillery! It's been a long time coming.
I see you said you were a Bloodbowl fan. Our own Techno knows something about that ... though he would be far too modest to tell you himself ... but you could ask.

Someone's Italian is even worse than mine!
Bloodbowl ? Don't go there, Nobby. X_X
The figures I did AGES X_X ago for the Scottish tourist industry are on their way to you....Enjoy !!!
Cheers - Phil

Yes, Goggle is often appalling. ;) :D
(Chuckles)
Welcome to the Forum!
Welcome Andrea
Hello and welcome!
Welcome to the Forum, I like your pics ..... especially the Napoleonic (?) game on that lovely sculpted battlefield.
Welcome :-h
:-bd =D> :-bd =D> pictures, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of your work
Hi Andrea, welcome to the forum from another Bloodbowl fan (16 teams and counting :D).
Matt
P.s Techno used to work for GW in the early days and created the original Chaos Allstars, but we don't talk about that ;)
Andrea, welcome to the mad house!

It makes him blush.

Isn't it?
I should also point out that Techno is a sculptor for Pendraken. Have a look at the Korean War range or
the Aztecs and he did a lot of the work on the Warband range.
Very talented, is our Techno.
Some on this forum don't give him the respect he deserves. Like me.

Nobby - you know the "A" word is BANNED...
They called themselves Mexicans, anyway.
....and they danced on their hats.
Arriba !
Cheers - Speedy Gonzales.
Alus tort youse were a tad mousey Phil !
I'd be a very, very 'hirsute' mouse, at the mo'. ;D
Cheers - Phil
Welcome Andrew, beautiful photographs.
Is that a sand table - quite rare these days, and beautifully done.

That's not surprising, since you are banned form using sharp implements.
If only, Ian ! ;D ;D ;D ;D
(Not so much sharp implements, in the last few days.......But the Dremmel's taking a damn good hammering.*)
Cheers - Mr Covered-In-White-Metal-Shards. :D
* Stroll on.....The tungsten carbide bits/routers are clogging up, every few minutes. The one thing I don't like about using the Dremmel, is that I can't hear the talking books.

Ever since reading this I've been thinking an inordinate amount about the Aztecs. I fear I smell another project brewing, they are lovely looking sculpts. X_X
P.S. whatever taboo exists around the Aztecs predates my joining the forum, so I'll say it loud and proud! Until I get shouted down and shamed. Then I'll probably still say it loud and proud but with a wry smile...
It's time for an Aztec pride day down Mexico way.
Don't care whether I wear a feather, get used to it!

FierceKitty launched a lengthy campaign to get Pendraken to make 10mm Aztecs that put Cato the Censor ("Carthago Delenda Est!") to shame! :)
Ah, I did notice such comments when pursuing some past posts. Fair play. What have the Romans ever done for us? Brought us the Aztecs!
FK will insist on calling them Mexicans, so perhaps Techno could produce a suitably attired mariachi band!
They also called themselves the Tenochca, which has neither modern nor imperialist implications.
Apologies to Jamsus for thread derailment but it's a pretty common occurrence round these parts!

X_X Bog off ! :P ;)
Having said that......I did catch something on the TV a couple of nights ago, which I
really want to make. :)
Just a one off 'from' WWII.
It made me smile, LOTS !
When I've got some spare time (HAH !!), I'll have to have a go at this one.
Not something that Leon would ever ask me to make....So it'll be 'off my own bat'.
Cheers - Phil
OK - so what ???????
IanS
Bet you peeked at all your Christmas presents.

Does that mean you want a clue, Ian ? ;)
I'd never heard of this 'character'.....(Which is hardly surprising with my lack of historical knowledge).....But I'd bet at least half of the WWII 'gang', here would instantly get the answer, with the only clue(s) I can think of at the mo'.
Cheers - Phil
