Title: WWII German - Vehicles Post by: Leon on 30 January 2019, 12:07:30 AM We've asked Jason at J.A.D Designs to move on to our other WWII ranges recently, so that we've got some photo'd codes for every nation and folks can get an idea of what they'll be buying. First up we've had these Panzer I's and II's, along with some of the Tigers.

Title: Re: WWII German - Vehicles Post by: Leon on 23 February 2020, 04:38:30 PM I wonder what colour he used? I've popped Jason a message to find out! Title: Re: WWII German - Vehicles Post by: mad lemmey on 23 February 2020, 08:04:07 PM Very cool 8)
Title: Re: WWII German - Vehicles Post by: Leon on 24 February 2020, 03:42:50 PM The ambulance half track in particular seems to have captured dunkelgelbe just perfectly. I wonder what colour he used? Answer from Jason: The dunkelgelb is a fair few layers, it's all Vallejo so Middlestone base, Green Ochre for first highlight then Beige for second highlight. Then an enamel wash of MIG 'Brown Wash for German Dark Yellow' finally removed with enamel thinners and cotton buds once dry. Agreed. All most excellent! (https://pendraken.co.uk/_img/products/2596/GRV34.jpg) Pedant* alert - no cupola and no bow MG make this a Ferdinand and suitable for 1943. Upgrades were added in 1944 and they were then renamed to Elefant. * Sorry, can't help myself Title: Re: WWII German - Vehicles Post by: sean66 on 05 February 2021, 11:17:21 AM Agreed.
