An overview of the inaugural show set in North Leach and organised by my friend Keith Flint. A lovely day out and I think it fair to say judged a success by all involved.

A good report, it sounds like a nice event. How was it advertised? If I'd known about it I might have attended, it's less than an hour and a half from me. It would have been nice to see Stuart Asquith again, we used to game semi-regularly many years ago.
Great report, wish I had known iy was on, i would have come over for a gander.
Glad you liked it chaps :). Keith wanted to keep it small to start with, inviting mainly people he knew. I think next year he will open it out to attract more gamers, whether putting on a game or simply visiting the show. All profits went to the Air Ambulance IIRC. If it happens again next year, I will give everyone the 'heads up'in advance.
Super report...super piccies ! :)
Cheers - Phil
That looked to be an excellent day's gaming.
Good cause, nice one
Looks like you had a good day
Wot they said :) =D> :-bd
Except about popping in if they had know, a bit far for me ;)
What was it that appealed about the Battle of Britain rules, it looks to be a game of flights and squadrons rather than individual dogfights which could be very interesting :-\
It was the bigger picture battle that appealed to me Paul. The British had variable information as to what was approaching via their radar, so you didn't know what was on each plot until you could actually see it. The Italians of course knew and could plot their own course to bomb the coastal towns. Very simple but great fun.
Definitely sounds interesting, any chance of getting to see the rules anywhere?
A lot of nice looking games there. :-bd
Not sure Paul, but I will drop Bruce a mail to see if he's willing to share them.
Dave Fielder? Who is he then? Thin Red lines .. pah. A whiff of Austrian wiggy talc saw those chappies off :D
