Title: Books on WW1
Post by: Chad on 11 July 2018, 02:13:57 PM
While having a clear out I found an old 10 volume set on the History of the Great War.

If anyone would be interested I would only want the cost of postage for them.

I hope Andy gets them.
Otherwise, 'C'.....Rather than bin them.....A charity shop ?

I still curse myself for throwing about 3-400 'pristine' vinyl albums into a skip when we moved from Newark to Wales.*
(I gave about 50 of the others to the local BBC radio station..at least they got a good home...for a while ?)....I've still got a couple of dozen albums left, in one of the sheds. (The ones I think have SOME value.)

Cheers - Phil.

*The albums themselves were just about 'as new' .....The spines of the covers, however, were a bit 'b*ggered', where 'Dimly'....(Sodding cat)....has sharpened his claws on them.
Dimly also peed into what was then, a state of the art cassette player/recorder, costing a few hundred quid.....and totally ****ed it !...One of the reasons I don't want any more cats.

Phil

They are certainly not pristine! Cover condition is variable but they are all quite readable. Caxton Press probably soon after WW1
