The UK's biggest wargames event attracts 6000 visitors and contains over 170 traders, so there's more than enough to keep anyone busy! It's always hectic in the run-up to this show, so please make sure to get your pre-orders sent through to us by Friday 8th April at the very latest, otherwise we might not have time to get them ready for you.
More info on this one can be found on the Salute website: http://www.salute.co.uk/salute/salute-2018/

It might be... :-[
This is what happens when I take time off, my brain goes to mush! :D
Our Salute game this year is going to be War of the Roses!
The Wars of the Roses racked Britain from the 1450's to the 1480's and while the actual campaigning time for the entire period lasted only a few months, it produced a large number of varied and very bloody battles.
We hope to play at least four games during the day, so make sure to pop by and have a look!

Looks impressive, a great way to show off the mass effect of 10mm 8)
I wish I'd be able to see it, maybe you could take lots of pictures for all those who won't be able to see it
Take care
Andy
I will definitely pop over and have a look at this game 8).
We'll definitely be getting some pics, no worries there!
Ooh. Looks nice. Just booked my flight, next thing on my list: pre-order planning!
Cheers,
Aksu
1/2 cm of snow at Heathrow, all flights cancelled for 6 weeks !
Gutted I'm going to miss it!! Too much going on, too much commuting, not enough wargames :-(
I'm guessing that's the Real Time Wargames rules. I must get them out and have another look at them.
Salute done, picked up yet another fix of lead for my LoA addiction. I was visiting the show with a friend (a recent LoA convert) so did not shoot videos. Quite a few battle mat companies in evidence. Seemed less crowded than last year, not sure if it was just my impression.
Cheers,
Aksu
Good to hear you had a successful visit and that you are feeding your LOA addiction ;)
I look forward to see some pictures from various people in due course
Good show from a demo game point of view and picked up some LoA additions and some WWII stuff from Pendraken. Good to meet a few forum members (Mollinary and Paul V (?)). The show was less crowded this year as they removed one whole row of traders, which gave more space for everyone, to see games and shop with traders without being constantly jostled. Not sure on numbers but the show seemed busy still when I left at 2.30pm. A proper report to follow once I have recovered from the long drive!
Back at home now after another busy Salute! Thanks to everyone who came by the stand, I always wish we had a bit more time to chat but it's usually too busy for that. We're taking a day off on Monday and then we'll be getting ready for our next trip out to Hammerhead on the 28th.
