We previewed these so long ago a lot of folks might have forgotten about them, but they're finally here! These ranges were bumped to the backburner far too many times, so apologies for that. Now that they've arrived though, they look great and we hope you like them!

They look rather tempting, especially as I'm contemplating what Ancients forces to collect for Sword & Spear.... :-\
My position and thoughts exactly Steve.
I already have Romans and Britons, but now I need more! Wonderful looking figures.
Good work all!
A mates birthday present sorted!
There's lovely!
They are definitely the dog's.
Great stuff
I'm looking forward to seeing some of them painted. :)
I might even scrounge a handful from 'Da Boss' and have a go at some of them, myself. :-\
Pleased you like them, Gang. :)
Cheers - Phil
Thanks Lem, looking forward to those.
Nice indeed 8)

Go on - you know you want to...:)
Very nice. Have toyed with a skirmish idea for the Teutoberger debacle. Could someone advise whether the Legionaries of Varus had a pilum or a spear...like the look of the Auxilliaries...short breeches for cold weather!

Varus' legions would have had the pilum.
The Marian Roman figures are in the correct equipment for Varus' legions at Teutoburger Wald.

Still pila.
I do like those Celtic figures but I think I would still find a place for the 'old' heavy infantry as the Romans copied shield, mail and helmet from the Celts.
I am having to come up with real complicated reasons not to buy these figures.
? AGA9 Light cavalry ? on the lists but not on the web site.

Oops, small mistake there, that was on the initial range list but hasn't been sculpted yet. We'll likely add those at some point down the line.
;D
......And you needn't think I'd have remembered if I'd made them, or not. X_X
Cheers - Phil
Very tempted by Julie's legions.
They look really good, especially the catapult!

Those pix are of Trajan's legionaries. Tread carefully.
Don't worry old chap, I was looking at the new Marian legionaries. Just given them another look - no pila and that isn't a coolus helmet. Will give it a little more thought.
Are the Romans wearing SHORTS! :o
Eh ? :-\
Cheers - Phil.
The Romans appear to be wearing shorts, thought they fought bar legged! ;)
They are usually shown barelegged in monuments to distinguish them from the trouser wearing barbarians but we know they wore socks, fascia (think proto-puttees) and, from the time of the Dacian Wars at least, shorts.
Oh, okay, fair enough! :)
