Title: Zodiac Armies
Post by: Duckman on 19 November 2015, 12:42:09 AM
As I have said I am planning Zodiac armies for Warmaster.  Would anyone be interested in my making the lists available or converting them to Warband.  Although I am not sure how easy that would be.

Has anyone converted Warmaster army lists to Warband yet

Don't take this seriously, Lud.
It's a certain member of the forum trying to wind me up. (Maybe with some help. ;))

I know many things. I know the best time to plant begonias, that Orc Snot Green should never be used on Napoleonics, and how to tell a Centurion from the track marks on your car. I know the colour of a kiss, the feel of bat-wing on skin, and the thrill of a loose drawstring on your swimming trunks. I know many things, some of which I will not tell, for they were told by now silent tongues under leaden skies, or they were hard won by trial that only those who know can know, or they've been on QI.

And if I do know of the Feathered Man I shall not speak, even if Milady herself should command me on pain of having my account cut off.

A used £5 note and a box of Maltesers now, and we're talking - FSN

The Pendraken forum ... a group poised somewhere between monkish illuminators and the madness of the illuminati :)

Um.  Might have done...  :-[

However, I note following Grand Waagh's 'Age of Sigmarines' or whatever the £30 per model reboot is called, the rumour mill is grinding that they're reopening their 'Specialist Games' branch, which one presumes will include Warmaster?  (http://www.beastsofwar.com/games-workshop/specialist-games-coming-games-workshop/ (http://www.beastsofwar.com/games-workshop/specialist-games-coming-games-workshop/)).

One likes to feel they've noticed the chilling bite of Warband competition!  Hehe... ;D

Even so, the grim darkness of the IP-hammer is never far from their hand.  :-S

From what I have seen Specialist Games is definitely getting relaunched but my own thinking is that the first released will be aimed at 40k related games Epic,BFG and Necromunda with maybe blood bowl and LOTR as well

It is all going to be run via Forge World so I doubt I will be able to afford anything

Wouldn't be interested if SG did come back.
If it did it'll only be to make a quick buck then shut it all down again.
Space Hulk proved people will buy the boxed sets.
So if Warmaster comes back it'll be a special edition one off to put some quick cash into the bank.

My Dad had a Ford Zodiak, Great big square car with a 3.5 litre engine.  It was a gold colour and my Nan used to call it "The Golden Chariot".

It was his first automatic car and  the first without a bench seat at the front, so I had to sit in the back.  Consequently I used to lean forward between the two front seats to talk to my parents.  He had not had it long and he managed to make the classic manual car drivers mstake of hitting the accelerator and the brake at the same time.  I shot forward and hit the dashboard putting my bottom tooth through my lip.

He always felt guilty about even whem it was mentioned years and years later

 ;D ;D  (Sorry. Shouldn't laugh)

Done that too, Orcs - but fortunately managed to put my hand on the dashboard before impact!

Heh! That might be good. Zodiac Techno-cals. Ford Zodiacs (accidentally) converted to accommodate large calibre weapons.
