These have been a little secret project between Techno and Mad Lemmey, so we're pleased to announce that the Picts are finally here! This nice little range covers command, spear, bow, skirmishers and cavalry, along with our usual army pack containing everything you need to get started. We'd like to thank Will for his work getting these sorted out, and we hope you like them!

Fantastic looking Picts, I will be ordering some of those come next Payday!
Excellent. Expect an army pack order soon.
Oh no, more shekels disappearing from the old bank account! :'(
But they do look rather good. :)
Perhaps I might also base some up for Warband as well. :-\
Thanks all.
Now to get these on the table.
These are jolly good! :-bd
Huzzah!
They are rather nice.
Big WELL DONE to Will (and Techno)
These will make a lovely addition to my lead pile :D
They do look rather good.
Agree. Nice sculpts, crisp castings. :-bd
Very nice - tempting me to replace my 15mm Picts. Could do with some spearmen with shields and some noble cavalry with chain shirts and iron helmets too though
Nice !!
Secret?
Nice figures and good to see them released
Which one is Nobby?
Oh dear, they're really very nice indeed aren't they?
Well done chaps.
Do those cav have round sheilds ?
IanS
The swordsman does, Ian....I managed to find a pic of the 'green'.
Can't remember what the other chap carries.
I think Will's got a set...he'll know.
Cheers - Phil
Yes they do Ian,

Ta
These could be used for all manner of things, especially fantasy.
These will go on the "want" list but, at the mo, I have WAY to much to paint.
Lovely minis!
They are 'the historical size', Gareth.....So are a tad smaller than the fantasy range figures.
Cheers - Phil

Who cares?
I've mixed allsorts and the only
glaring difference is Kallistra's 12mm's. I'm in the process of getting rid but they were a nice transition from 28mm to 10mm.
Thanks for the heads up though Phil; I'm sure my wife will appreciate you trying to save me adding to my lead pile. :D
Nice miniatures! I' ll immediately put the cavalry in my Salute pre order.
These are brilliant
Take care
Andy
Lovely job on those Techno, i'm tempted ;D
kev
I AM one of the tempters ! ;)
Well done to Will, for putting his money....etc..... ;) ;D ;D ;D
Very pleased you like them, gang.
Cheers - Phil.
These look lovely - I must Restst, I must Resist.
But they would be easy to paint , could use them against Early Imperial Roman.
B*gg*r, must stop looking at the Forum
Look into my eyes, Mark..... @-) @-) @-) @-) @-)
I will count down from 10......When I reach zero, you will connect to the Pendraken orders page.....and spend LOTS of money.....You WILL keep looking at the forum.

Hypnosis via monitor! :-\
Now I wonder if the wife will swallow that when she sees I ordered the Army Pack? :)
Hmmm, might be worth a try. :D
Nice wild men of Dunlendings. ;)

Just received a lovely box of goodness, Pendraken goodness that is! :D
Obviously Techno has mastered the technique of remotely controlling us all. :(
And what is more Techo hasn't injured himself lately! I think Welsh Druids have been at work here.
Does it include PICTS? ;)

I resisted looking at the Forum for a whole hour. Contrary to rumour it had nothing to do with me going for a walk at lunchtime where I have no access to a computer
Double b*gg*r !!!

No, unfortunately no Picts at the moment, hopefully they will arrive in the next box. This box obviously contained just what Techno had mesmerised me to get from the Warband range, next box will be historic ranges, to be based up for both historic and Warband but of course! ;)
You don't even remember I told you to get those, do you ?
Damn.....I'm getting good at this remote hypnosis stuff ! ;) ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil
Lovely figures! I have been waiting for these and need to order ASAP! Just for clarification, are all the sculpt poses shown in the photos? I'm specifically curious about the "PIC2" Spearmen and PIC4 Skirmishers, are there two poses in the pack? Also, could one use Gallic figures to mix in or are those shields not accurate?

Two poses per pack (my funding ran out before I could ask Phil to do more)
Command has three poses.
Im thinking how these Picts would make a great Warbands Viking/Norse-type army using the Barbarian list.
Those are really beautiful sculpts. I assume they have been given a thin black wash to make the detail pop like that? Whatever it is, it is very effective for showing off the figures.
:-bd :-bd :-bd
Mollinary
Thanks for all the comments, good to see everyone likes them!

Yep, it's the Vallejo Black Shade Wash from the Game Color range, and it works a treat.

Excellent, just saw them. New plans for Dux Bellorum. They are awesome. Really great.

Which one is Nobby?
Sorry, Steve.....Didn't notice that earlier.
Will rejected the one that looked like Ricky Tomlinson's stunt double.
He said having a Pict sitting in front of a television, drinking from a can, wasn't really historically accurate enough.
Frankly..... I thought that was being a trifle picky. ;)
Cheers - Phil
And I thought he was into fantasy.
Where's Sturgeon ?
In the Black Sea?
Ho Ho, you may jest but I want a Sturgeon figure, a little bare breasted, gap toothed ratlike Pict in a jimmy wig, surrounded by four 'disabled' warriors (one drunk wielding a bottle of Buckfast, one druggy brandishing a hypodermic, one morbidly obese just looking for someone to fall on and one toting a canister of oxygen due to a lifetime of heavy smoking) with one shoulder aggressively pushed forward and one foot on an empty amphora (it used to be filled with valuable oil .... but alas).
So ... where is she ?
Now that IS a metaphor for the Scottish state if I ever heard one! ;)
Thank you, that was exactly what I intended.
It's like one of those obscure Washington Post political cartoons! ;)
I just got some of these Picts and they are amazing sculpts and very well cast. Very impressive.
