Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Gunhit on 06 March 2015, 10:22:11 AM Thanks, yes Fenton on 50 by 50, gives me some flexibility.
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: FierceKitty on 06 March 2015, 10:49:18 AM Very, very nice. exactly the look I shall bed going for. How on earth do you "bed going"? You've got me puzzled, though in my time I've bedded no small number of...well, never mind that here. Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Techno on 06 March 2015, 10:51:14 AM Very nice work, Gunhit !

Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: FierceKitty on 06 March 2015, 11:03:31 AM We cats are sympathetic to the difficulties of typing accurately with paws. But anything for extra posts!
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Luddite on 06 March 2015, 11:45:15 AM They are brilliant Gunhit! :-bd
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: getagrip on 06 March 2015, 11:49:11 AM They're cracking; were they in the competition? If not, why not?
Great job :-bd Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Ithoriel on 06 March 2015, 12:00:52 PM Very nice indeed.
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: fred. on 06 March 2015, 12:43:07 PM Very nicely done. The basing really sets them off nicely.
What codes are the figures? Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Gunhit on 06 March 2015, 12:44:43 PM Thanks guys. I really like the bigger basing more room to enhance the little soldiers :D
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: mad lemmey on 06 March 2015, 12:51:10 PM Cracking base!
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Leon on 06 March 2015, 03:41:05 PM Those look excellent, really nice looking base there.
8) Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Leman on 06 March 2015, 05:50:25 PM Not in the comp. Are they actually all Pendraken figures? I suspect not.
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: paulr on 06 March 2015, 05:56:23 PM :-bd =D> :-bd =D>
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: getagrip on 06 March 2015, 06:02:48 PM Not in the comp. Are they actually all Pendraken figures? I suspect not. Ah, my bad ;) Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Leon on 06 March 2015, 06:39:02 PM Not in the comp. Are they actually all Pendraken figures? I suspect not. The only one I don't recognise is the standard in the middle, I'd need a better angle on him. The others are all from the Medieval range. Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Gunhit on 06 March 2015, 07:26:29 PM Leon, really ;D
Yes they are all Pendraken. The guy with the spear is the demi-lancer from the Elizabethan range ( I need to put an appropriate flag on his pole). There is additional green stuff cloaks etc. Adrian Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Leon on 06 March 2015, 07:31:04 PM Leon, really ;D Yes they are all Pendraken. There is additional green stuff cloaks etc. :D I recognise him now... :P Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: getagrip on 06 March 2015, 07:38:47 PM Now we've worked that out, why didn't you enter it in the comp Gunhit?
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Gunhit on 06 March 2015, 10:47:13 PM Simply too late only finished them today. Also need better lighting and camera ;)
Adrian Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: getagrip on 07 March 2015, 07:17:35 AM Shame, still, next year eh?
Lovely job though ;) Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: paulr on 07 March 2015, 09:35:58 AM Shame, still, next year eh? Lovely job though ;) I can hear the standard of entries moving higher already :) Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: getagrip on 07 March 2015, 12:43:23 PM I can hear the standard of entries moving higher already :) #Yeah, I think the competition is becoming more and more "professional." Nice showcase for the minis though which I guess is the point ;) Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Leman on 07 March 2015, 02:27:29 PM Fair point. Just posted a couple of photos of dragoons - perfectly acceptable as wargame pieces, and the best I'm ever going to be able to do, but I doubt they'd have made the first cut.
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: nikharwood on 09 March 2015, 01:49:23 PM Very nicely done 8)
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Leman on 09 March 2015, 05:15:52 PM Back on topic I have dug out a Leonardo landship in 15mm that I've had for about 15 years. I reckon I could recrew with 10mm figures and it would make a nice fantasy piece, although not sure how I could use it .
Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Luddite on 09 March 2015, 05:26:44 PM For the Dragon Men it'd make a great centrepiece for a commander? Or magic user?
Use it as a cannon unit? :D :-\ Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Bodvoc on 09 March 2015, 05:45:42 PM My very 'Norman' looking Dragon men are hoping to get their first game of Warband in tomorrow night. I have added a magic user base and a base of giants, 499 points and 11 bases. We will hopefully be beating up some nasty looking goblins.

Excellent, let us know how it goes! 8) Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Upgraydd on 09 March 2015, 09:07:04 PM Back on topic I have dug out a Leonardo landship in 15mm that I've had for about 15 years. I have a 10mm castle that I've had for many years and never found a use for until now. Title: Re: Dragon Men Post by: Leman on 10 March 2015, 08:55:48 AM Great ideas chaps, thankyou.
