Hi Everyone. Some advice please. In the interest of ageing eyesight I have upgraded from Micro Armour to 10mm. Received my first order from Pendrakon couple of days ago and painted them all Panzers, Tigers and Shermans. I am impressed by the amount of detail in them and want to bring it out with the usual black wash. Painted with Humbrol enamels  but wonder if I could do the black wash with acrylic paint. Could remove the surplus with water rather than turps. Anyone know from experience if acrylic paint will take on enamel. Then intend to finish with matt varnish for protection. Replies much appreciated. Mickey

I undercoat my figures with humbrol matt black and then paint with acrylics - no problems at all.

You won't have any problems as lomg as the enamel is fully dried before you apply the acrylic.

Have you seen the rivets on that?
