japanese cavalry Russo-Japanese War

What cavalry would you reccomend for Russo japanese war japanese cavalry.  According to Ospray they were a uniform like the infantry summer uniform, with flat cap, I have also added a picture of the winter uniform which was the same more or less but blue with lace on the chest.  Any suggestions?

I've used cavalry from the 1879-1884 South American Pacific War

Specifically SAP8: Cavalry, kepi, havelock, carbine & SAP9: Cavalry, kepi, havelock, sword 

They look like the central infantry figure below alhough the kepi needs filing and the trousers need scoring to represent the gaiter / boot

I haven't got round to paiinting them yet



To be honest I've wondered whether I really need Japanese cavalry and I decided that I did because I can
