It's Day 2 of our '10 Days of Shiny!'

Today we switch to 10mm and WWII in particular, with a set of drivers and passengers released for our American, British, French, German and Soviet ranges!  These are all seated figures which will fit into any of our jeeps, halftracks and trucks, or placed on a bench/ammo box to add something to a command base or diorama.  The drivers have their arms in their laps so they can be put in either the driver or passenger seats of transports.  The passengers come with helmets and rifles and the pairs could also be cut in half if you wanted individuals instead.

These new codes can be found in the Misc section of their respective nations (except for the French which are a single set of codes currently).

They could be very handy - was just looking at some open topped trucks the other day thinking they looked a bit bare.

The British passengers- are they in helmet ? Its hard to tell from the image.

Just wanted to comment that I find the composition of this photo very evocative and moving: the monochrome of the troops in contrast to the colour of the half-track.

On an old battlefield the shades of troops waiting for a disembarkation order that will never come.  Meanwhile, nature returns as plants grow up to reclaim the torn soil as life continues for the fortunate.
(I know, even though it's fantasy  :o  ;)  )

They are indeed.

I'd not looked at it that way, I just popped them in a painted vehicle!  You're right though, there's a ghostly sense to them sitting in that halftrack.

I already have thoughts of figures sitting on ammo boxes, somewhere in the corner of a command stand, waiting to be sent off with a message or to be sent to fetch something from the officer's kit or, heavens forfend, to defend their HQ against marauding Italian tanks :)

As with other manufactures who make seated figures - I file the sides a little and glue them to a strip of thin plastic card.

Useful addition - won't have to buy vehicles with a canvas tilt any more.  Added to June order - still pending to see what other goodies come along!  :)

This, I have sometimes glued two lines facing each other, to make a block of passengers, who then sit quite well in the vehicle, and can be removed easily enough to.
