I am scratch building a 1/300 model based on an Irregular Miniatures WWTM3 hull. (A snip at  8.80)Almost finished.  Its hard to get operational images but I am presuming the front hull had a concealed bow door beneath the ramp that allowed the cargo of light tanks to be unloaded ?

I have used images of the Warlord Games model for inspiration as this scratch build is for table top hands on play- not in a display cabinet. Hence the front ramp section  will be in the closed sea going position.   Just curious as to the design of the bow door beneath the front ramp.  It is probably too complicated to depict in a 1/300 model.  Most 1/300 landing craft are depicted in sea going mode.

Unlike the Cruel seas version, mine will have German armament- cause that's what's in the spares box !   Smiley
