Our Modern Vehicle range is coming along nicely and this month sees the addition of the M41 Walker Bulldog and the M47 Patton as well.  We've got a few more 'M' variants to come soon, so keep an eye out for those.

Vehicles -
MDV40    M47 Patton    3.50
MDV41    M41 Walker Bulldog    3.50

And the pics!

MDV40 - M47 Patton

MDV41 - M41 Walker Bulldog

We'll have these with us at York this coming weekend.

Excellent news!

Can't wait to place an order.

Gonna need some Soviets, or Warsaw Pact Troops with RPG-7s to take them on ASAP.

With British WW2 infantry standing in (perhaps more from the pending Korean War range), that's everything for 1965 India-Pakistan!

With British WW2 infantry standing in (perhaps more from the pending Korean War range), that's everything for 1965 India-Pakistan!

The 7.62 FN/SLR (India) and the SKS (Pakistan)were front line equipment by 65.  The venerable SMLE in both 7.62 and .303 were still common in reserve units.  The Pakistani infantry in particular had a eclectic range of kit -  .303 Brens, .30 Brownings,  Chinese SKS and 9mm Stens.

The Indians and the Pakistanis love their old Indian Army woolly pullovers. They have stitched slots on the shoulders to allow the shirt epaulettes of rank to be buttoned through.  Both sides wore 37pattern web with the Pakistanis developing a locally made belt for the SKS clips. Both sides wore the WW2 old pattern lid.

Minifigs British infantry are probably the best for both sides.  They are skinny sculpts and the tight cut of the battledress reflects the Asian military fashion for tight fitting denim trousers

Pendraken WW2 and Falkland  Paras will serve as Indian Paras.

It is Pendraken policy to do the armour first, and Rumour Control has gleaned that - in the fullness of time - Arab/Israeli infantry types will follow Korea.... Thumbs up
