First, some appropriate music:

I have just received my first Ottoman pack, OT7 - tartar auxiliaries.  These are lovely figures

About half the pack is a very dynamic horse archer figure

And the other one of the most amazing miniatures of charging cavalry I have seen:

The two compare well with the SYW Prussian dragoon

I am hoping to integrate these with the akinjis and others to get mixed units of irregular skirmishing horse archers on one hand, and warband charging horse on the others.  Nice looking figures, will require careful thought about costume.

They are some nice looking figures, but I think Elefants in support will be a bit unfair!

Really nice figures - out of interest do you snip out the bit under the horse?

Generally.  I think I'll police them all up and use them for shell-casings by some WWII AT gun or something,

Well, the main Turkish order has arrived -- but I am the midst of a busy deployment.  Pictures and plans coming on Sunday.
